My name is Reno Romero and I have been with the Anchorage Fire Department for 19 years. I have been a part of the fire service for over 25 years. Before my time with the Anchorage Fire Department I spent 6 years with the Girdwood Volunteer fire Department as an EMT/firefighter. I have worked in the trades prior to my time in public service working as a commercial carpenter.

I live in Anchorage with my wife of 15 years and together we have an 11-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old son that keeps us busy, and amused. I love my time with my family and we pend a lot of time in the outdoors skiing, camping, hiking and exercising. My family and I have a great passion for travel both locally and internationally. We enjoy experiencing new cultures and seeing the great beauty that surrounds us.

I understand the challenges that life can bring to the working individual trying to balance a family, a marriage and a career. In addition our work in the fire service can bring additional difficulties that can challenge us in multiple ways, I hope I can help you navigate these difficulties.
