Pat has been involved with EMS for over 39 years, after a career in Communications with a local telephone company in the Sierras in California. Then working EMS for a local ambulance service in California as a Paramedic.

1999, she transferred to Alaska to take the position of EMS Training Officer for Anchorage Fire Department. After 19 years with Anchorage Fire Department Pat retired and went to work for Southern Region EMS Council as Regional Training Manager.

Presently, she is working with Southern Region EMS Council, where she coordinates and teaches EMT (all levels) classes. Working with all regional services to increase EMS Training and American Heart Association Courses.

Pat is also on the Western States AHA ECC Board and subcommittee chair of the Education Committee. Along with State of Alaska EMT Multi-Level, MICP, & MOI instructor certifications; Pat also holds instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, ACLS-EP, PALS, AMLS, & PHTLS.
