Dr. Bateman has been working with survivors of trauma for the past 20 years.  She specializes in PTSD, substance abuse, couples counseling, anger management as well as sexual assault trauma.

 

She will serve as the AKFFPS Clinical Consultant as well as provide training for the Alaska Firefighters Peer Support Team so they have the required skills to help out fellow fire service personnel deal with the troubles they face from the job.

 

Dr. Bateman currently works at the Anchorage Vet Center counseling Combat Vets and survivors of Military Sexual Trauma.  You can find more information about Trauma and her work at www.northernsolace.org.
