I was originally from Nevada, and I moved to Anchorage in 2001.  I have been in the fire service since 1995 including the Anchorage Fire Department since 2002.  I have worked as a firefighter/ paramedic and as an engineer with the AFD.

In my off time, I like spending time with my family and enjoying the outdoors.  I am also part of a non-denominational local church family that plays an important part in my life.

In the past, I have journeyed through the loss of a spouse to cancer while raising young children.  My hope is to offer peer support to others who are going through difficult times just as I had people walking through those times with me.
