I have been working for Anchorage Fire Department since 2004. I am currently a captain at station 3 and also help run our new hire academies. Previous to that, I spent 4 summers working as a wildland firefighter here in Alaska. I am married and have two sons as well as a couple dogs bouncing around at all times. I’m generally a pretty positive and easy going type that can talk just as well as listen. Sharing with others has helped me in the past get through some of my rough patches, so I am eager to join the peer support team and be better prepared to help others.
