Dein Bruce has been a member of AFD since 1999. He started working with Peer Support within his organization in 2016.

FF Bruce is married with three children and lives in the Anchorage area. A second generation Alaskan Dein grew up in the interior close to Fairbanks. Moving to Anchorage in 1990 and a short stint on the Kenai Peninsula where he found the fire service with Nikiski Fire.

Former Paramedic, current acting Engineer and Officer FF Bruce has worked several stations and disciplines within the Anchorage Fire Department.

Recently attended CISM training FF Bruce is committed to help brother and sister firefighters in their personal growth and recovery.
